Summer time

The previously mentioned light turned out to be the end of the tunnel after all. Only problem is once out of the tunnel it became apparent that this track is a series of long tunnels with very small gaps in between. In this case the gap is all of 3 weeks long. I have decided to attempt an accelerated class over the summer.
After smashing through my Lasers final with a 95% I decided to maintain my momentum and signed up for EEE 544 High Resolution Radar.
Lets see how this goes.

On the baby front (you do know I have a baby now right?) Max is growing like a new born baby. He is up to 9 lbs and we have retired our first sets of clothes. He is focusing on objects and lights and even sometimes faces. He smiles a lot now and his audio output system has developed well. He can now belt out room shaking wails and has become proficient finding the optimum angle at which to tilt his head to ensure the maximum amount of sound energy will enter your ear canal, especially during burping.

C, E, and e are visiting this weekend and it sure feels good to have them around again. I think they have lived abroad longer than they lived here now (maybe not.. not thinking to hard about he time frames) but it sure feels "normal" around here again. Its nice to have friends that you are so familiar with that even after a year apart you drop in and click like its only been a week.

Since it has been so chaotic around here I feel like there are a ton of things I meant to post but never got around to it. One of those is the saga of a bad SSD in a striped array, the week of attempted restores.. the final replacement and restore that finally went as planned, and the discovery that the images had corrupted files. Hooray for backing up corrupted files.
It is a saga I will save for another time, if I tell it at all.
